Overview
The 6th arrondissement
is the upscale stylish trendy area for well off artists, investment bankers,
and anybody else looking to get in touch with the vibrant extravagance
that Paris is famous for. It includes the areas of Luxembourg Gardens,
St. Germain des Pres, Odeon, St. Sulpice, the Seine and the Rue Dauphine.
The area has a wealth of trendy shops, great restaurants, movie theaters,
and some very French markets. The 6th borders on the Seine (north
border), the 5th (east border--St. Michel), the 14th (south border--Montparnasse)
and the 7th (west border--Duroc).
