ASKED QUESTIONS
This
page contains the most frequently asked questions concerning
Paris apartment rentals with Rentals in Paris
-
What are your terms and conditions for rentals?
You can see our rental agreement here.
You will be asked to sign and return a copy of this agreement
to confirm your Paris apartment rental.
- Do you have a minimum rental for your Paris apartments?
Do you only accept weekly or monthly reservations? Do we receive
discounts for stays of more than one week?
We do have
a one week minimum rental for all apartments. The weekly rates
are listed on each apartment's individual description page.
If you reserve for more than a week, we simply prorate the additional
nights at the weekly rate. We then have a slight discount for
two week rentals, three week rentals, and a more significant
discount for a monthly rental. We also offer discounts for last
minute reservations.
- What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your rental by Visa/Mastercard online using
our secure server. If you prefer, you may pay by bank wire transfer.
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation, with the
balance due 30 days before your arrival. We'll send you full
instructions on how to pay when you book.
- Are there additional 'hidden' costs on top of the
rental rates?
NO! Many agencies advertise prices and then add on many hidden costs once you have reserved an apartment with them. We firmly believe that clients must know upfront what the TOTAL charge will be for their rental. Therefore our listed prices are ALL INCLUSIVE and we mean ALL INCLUSIVE; there are no additonal charges, taxes, fees, seasonal adjustments, etc.
-
What are your office hours?
Our
office is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Guests have our personal cell phone numbers and can already reach us.
-
What about weekend or evening arrivals?
Although
our office is not open officially on weekends, we have our arrival
staff come in when we have arrivals on Saturday and Sunday so
it is important to coordinate them with you well in advance
to make sure they go smoothly. If a special check-in time is requested after 6:00 P.M.,
a special service may be hired, if available. In that case, the
company must assess an additional charge of 150 Euros to cover the
additional cost of the check in process. We have no choice about this, and therefore
ask guests to do their best to arrive earlier in the day when
possible.
-
How does the telephone work?
IOur apartments have a new telephone system that allows guests to call most countries land lines at no charge. This includes most of Europe, the US, Canada, China, Japan, many countries in South America, Australia and New Zealand. This is a very valuble service we are happy to offer guests. Whether you need to make calls for business or just want to call home, this service is free for our guests.
- How well equipped are the Paris apartments?
All the appliances are modern, and include either a
microwave/grill combination or a toaster oven, small refrigerator/freezer,
coffee maker, electric stove top, a clothes washer/dryer and
an iron. Naturally there is an assortment of pots and pans,
as well as kitchen utensils.
- Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, most apartments have queen size beds with sheets
and pillow cases, and a double sleeper sofa with sheets and
pillow cases, as well as sufficient blankets. All bathrooms
come with ample towels for the number of people officially staying
in the apartment.
- Are your apartments all centrally located and near
public transportation?
Yes. All
of our apartments are selected for their accessibility for people
who come to Paris to take advantage of the city. They are all
located in central, upscale areas near tourist attractions and
business centers (Notre Dame, Marais, Saint Germain, Louvre, Champs Elysees). Every apartment
is at most 5 minutes from a Paris Metro Station, RER station,
or a Paris bus stop.
- Are there restaurants and stores in the vicinity of
your Paris apartments?
For the first question, there are good restaurants
everywhere in Paris. The locations of our Paris apartments are
no exception. There are very good restaurants near every apartment.
When you are here, we will be happy to make some suggestions
for you.
As for shopping, all apartments have nearby supermarkets or
little family run stores where you can purchase food or other
household items that you may need during your stay. When you're
here, don't hesitate to ask for suggestions on where to go shopping
or where to eat.
